Celebrating Beauty: An Evening with Madeline Stuart and EverMaya at Midtown

Madeline Stuart, the first globally recognized model with Down syndrome, to visit Midtown Athletic Club

Rochester, NY, September 2, 2015– Midtown Athletic Club and EverMaya will welcome Madeline Stuart, the first globally recognized model with Down syndrome, to the club on Thursday, September 17.

The event, which is complimentary and open to the public, will feature cocktails, shopping, and an exclusive fashion show featuring Madeline and students from Holy Childhood.

Press are invited to attend a news conference at 4:45pm with Glenn William, General Manager of Midtown, Damian Graybelle, President of EverMaya, and Madeline’s mother, Roseanne Stuart. The fashion show will follow.

“Midtown is honored to host Madeline and to feature students from Holy Childhood in our fashion show,” said William, General Manager of Midtown. “This collaboration between Midtown, EverMaya, and Holy Childhood represents all that is good in our community of Rochester by elevating awareness and respect for special needs children.”

Madeline Stuart is making history as only the second model with Down syndrome to walk in New York Fashion Week before arriving in Rochester. In the fashion show at Midtown, Madeline will model accessories from EverMaya, a Rochester-based company, alongside students from Holy Childhood’s School Program.

Fashion & Lifestyle Brand Announce Launch Line of Designer Bags Named for Internationally-recognized Model with Down Syndrome; 5% of Sales to Be Donated to the National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS)

Rochester, N.Y., July 31st, 2015– EverMaya (http://evermaya.com/), a Fashion and Lifestyle Brand, is proud to announce that their latest designer handbag line will be named for Madeline Stuart, an 18-year-old model from Brisbane, Australia. Ms. Stuart has recently become an Internet sensation as the first globally recognized model with Down syndrome, gracing the front pages of publications across the world. EverMaya quickly garnered international recognition after contracting Ms. Stuart to be the face of their most recent national ad campaign.

In order to continue its mission to be a leader among socially-conscious fashion brands, EverMaya will donate 5% of sales of every handbag named for Ms. Stuart to the National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS). “NDSS is proud to team up with Madeline Stuart and EverMaya to help promote the value, acceptance and inclusion of all people with Down syndrome around the globe. Madeline is such an inspiration and continues to make history by following her own career dreams as an international model. The launch of EverMaya’s new line of handbags will begin with a vote on the final name selection on July 31st by Madeline Stuart’s 400,000+ Facebook followers, and will include a supporting photo shoot at iconic locations across New York City on August 11th.
